A fun and colorful (and spooky) wall decoration project kids are sure to enjoy!

plastic plates in a variety of colors craft foam in a veriety of colors (make sure to have white) craft or scrapbooking paper puff or foam paint double sided tape or Elmers all-purpose glue stapler scissors (optional) a bag of Creative Hands foam shapes
DIRECTIONS:
1.(steps 1- 4 can be prepped before craft time or party) cut several paper plates in half.
2.Cut several 1" strips approximately 11" long, out of paper (these will be arms & legs). Out of foam, cut several 1" wide pairs of 3 to 4 peaked crown shapes (these will make hands/claws/feet)
3.Cut several pairs of jagged "bat" and/or scalloped "dragon" wings out of foam.
4.Cut circles, half circles, ovals, squares, triangles, out of craft foam (a curved triangle makes a good widows peak for a Dracula or werewolf creature).
5.Each child picks out a plate & a half plate. The half plate is flipped and lined up face to face with the whole plate. staple them together around the rim (this created the lower jaw of your monster.)
6.Attach foam triangles "fangs" to the cut edge of the half plate, and half circle "ears" underneath the top rim of the full plate.
7.Using foam shapes and paint create eye and nose.
8.Accordion fold the strips of paper to create the arms and legs. Attach under rim (on the back) of whole plate. Glue or tape the hands to the end of paper. (wings can replace arms if desired).
