Witch's Pantry
Thinking outside the bowl: Labeled Jars containing items found in any good witch's pantry such as unicorn boogers (Jelly Bellys), or root of hangman's tree (licorice). This is an excellent way to serve candy or small treats at a party. For added fun, mix in (sealed) jars with appropriate but non-edible items such as rubber fingers, fake moss or other plastic/fabric plant matter.

TYPE:
Indoor
AGE:
Adult
MATERIALS:
several jars (bought or collected, as many as you like)
labels (you're a modern kind of witch go ahead and print them out)
munchies such as: orange slices, dried dates, wasabi peas, etc.
(optional) non-food items such as: dolls hair, fake or dried plants
(optional) spoons or other scooping devices may make retrieving treats from jars easier
(optional) small container of black paint (for jar tops)
DIRECTIONS:
1. Buy or collect ten jars
2. Go to a supermarket and buy, for example:
1)orange slices (candied troll ears)
2)dates (cat kidneys)
3)wasabi peas (warts)
4) caramel or cheese popcorn (rat brains)
5)Sesame sticks (dried scarab larva)
6)canned herring or sardines (fillet of a fenny snake)

"Children Bait" is good for any item you can't come up with a name for.
3. (Optional) Go to craft store and get some non-edible items. Ex:
7)blond doll hair (Goldie's locks)
8)brown yarn pulled apart (Bat's wool)
9)green decorative marbles with a little water run through them (basilisk eggs)
10)dried or fake baby's breath (hemlock)
4. Fill the jars with the ghoulish items. The jars with Munchies in them will not need a lid, for the non-munchables, paint the lids black. Tightly replace painted lids on non-munchables.
5. Find an appropriate font (Times is not an appropriate font) and make labels. A repeating image or picture on each label adds a nice touch and makes for good continuity.
