The following is a list of plastic skulls for sale ranging in price and quality from a quick cheap fix to a real creepy cranium. There are also in-town options if you have no time to order online, though these brick and mortar stores rarely have the chop-top model of skull necessary for some of the ideas you’ll find at Chateau Grrr.
As noted elsewhere, if washing your skull (your plastic skull), do NOT put it in the dishwasher. A plastic skull will twist and warp and shrink in a dishwasher. Wash your skull by hand with gentle dish soap and water. Be sure to rinse thoroughly if using the skull for holding food. |

| 1. eGeneralMedical.com knows their market, putting Hallowe’en items on the front page for the holiday season. They offer a second-quality serviceable plastic skull for a very affordable price (<$20). This skull will not look all too great and may have some blemishes, but with low lights and high spirits, it’s perfectly fine. | | | 2. Turn to Party City if you’re desperate and absolutely need something today. It most likely won’t be an open-top cranium, but you might find something to throw on the table as a decoration. These novelty skulls should be fairly cheap (<$25) and available today for the holiday procrastinator. | | | 3. Now here’s a fine replica skull for a low price (comparatively speaking). American 3B Scientific offers this open-top cranium skull for under a Benjamin (<$90). | | | 4. Near the top of the expensive pile sits Schoolmasters Science. Schoolmasters is a terrific choice if you’re also picking up science lab equipment and wish to combine orders and shipping. They have not quite figured out who their target demographic is come October 31st, but school starts in the Fall as well, so they’re forgiven. The quality of this plastic skull is high and sports a spendy price tag to match (>$120). | | | 5. Skullduggery is not just a terrific name for a business, it’s a great place to buy replica skulls as well. Skullduggery offers a male and female skull as well as many different types of animal skulls. These are serious science-grade reproductions so don’t expect a cheap price tag (>$125), but in return, you should receive a skull nearly indiscernible from the real thing. | | |
