| DIRECTIONS: |
| 1. Outside on some newspaper, spray Styrofoam balls evenly with the taupe paint (some spray paint may eat away at balls a bit, don't worry, they are not supposed to be pretty.) | |
| 2. Take the big cheap paint bush and scissors and, pointing the tip of the scissors to the tip of the paintbrush cut up into the bristles. Fill plastic cup with water and put some of each color paint on your palette. This is your palette of decay. | |
| 3. Put drop of glue on the back of the googly eyes and press hard into ball so that they appear sunken in. | |
| 4. With a pencil, make two holes for the nostrils, and scratch a little wizened line for the mouth. with the small brush paint the line and holes black | |
| 5. Using the small brush mix together some sickly looking colors (on your "palette of decay"). Use the cheap chopped up brush to dab and brush spots of mold and other discoloration. | |
| 6. Take doll hair or ribbon (cut ribbon about a foot long) make a small circle of glue on the top of the head and stick the middle of the hair to the glue and let it dry. Gather the hair into a loose pony tail on top of the head and tie it with a piece of string, a rubber band, or if it's long enough just tie a knot in the hair. | |
| 7. Make five more heads. String the ribbon through the hair (between the "scalp" and the knot) making knots in the ribbon before and after head to keep them spaced out. Hang them up and enjoy. | |
