Ok this one isn't exactly horror-related by nature, but with a little tweaking it can be whatever theme you want it to be.
** It might SEEM like a fun idea to gang up on a player and have everyone assign their souls/shots to one person, but when this strategy is taken the game turns into something else entirely. The main directive shifts from getting everyone slightly tipsy to getting your insanely drunk friend to the bathroom before he/she pukes on the carpet and then everyone takes turns proving their sobriety, or lack thereof, to make the call as to whether or not anyone is in any condition to drive your friend to the hospital for alcohol poisoning.
Scary? Yes.
Fun? Not really.
So let's spread those shots out. |

| DIRECTIONS: |
| 1. One player is chosen to be the one to hide the shot(s). This person is called the Soul Keeper. | | | 2. The rest of the players are the Soulless Undead. | | | 3. The Soulless Undead close their eyes and turn their backs to the Soul Keeper as he/she hides shots around the room. Basically the idea here is that the booze in the shot glasses is the other players' souls and the Keeper is hiding the souls from their rightful owners. So it's best for the number of shots to match the number of Soulless Undead. | | | 4. After the shots (or souls) are hidden, the Keeper says "GO." Or, for the spooky version here, they can say "BOO!" or "I'll Drink Your Soul!" or "I'll Use Your Bones As Spoons!!!" | | | 5. All the Soulless Undead then search the room for the shots. | | 6. When a shot is found, the player can either drink it him/her self or assign the shot to another player to drink
** see note on this. | | | 7. After all the shots have been found, the player who didn't find/consume any souls becomes the Keeper. If all the Soulless Undead found/consumed souls, the Keeper remains the same until such time as described above and so on and so forth doodly doodly doo. | | | 8. The game ends when one of the players is drunk enough to cause concern, or the host of the party gets fed up with his/her guests tearing the living room apart looking for small amounts of booze. The winner is determined by whoever found the most souls. | |
