| STORY: |
Her hair was pristine, eyes crystalline,
Like captured hill-torches that beamed
Through her frozen tears, to someone who hears
Her muffled attempt at a scream.
Her neck was enlaced, with my lust’s embrace
Where, punctured, her arteries graced
My heart with her water, which solemnly sauntered
Through new paths and veins, unpaced.
In her soul I peered, for much did it fear
The end, which now seemed so near.
And her beauty, unchained from mortality’s reign,
To my brethren and me, would be dear.
But death I did bring, and harshly it rang
For centuries, mouring the life
Of the one who could light
A thousand dark nights,
And rapture the earth with her bite. |
