The following is my own personal history with the vampire. The irresistible call of the night set here in quasi-permanence for all to read (since it won't fit on my tombstone).Early AllureThe lure of the vampire beckoned me from a young age. I don’t know recall the precise moment where I learned what a vampire was, but I do recall that it wasn’t any introduction that scared me. I believe I had heard of vampires long before seeing one on the silver screen. Talk on the playground about werewolves and vampires and monsters explained the basics. I have to this day an irrational fear of werewolves, but vampires have never caused me any fear. Even at a very young age, the notion of a vampire was far more seductive than scary....
