At Chopin Theater last night for local premier of new indie horror film, "The Dead Matter" directed by Ed Douglas, aka Midnight Syndicate. Also local premier of "The Rage" directed by another one of the good guys - Robert Kurtzman. Cast and crew members were there to chat and answer questions and sign stuff. It was sponsored by Horror Society of Chicago. Good turn out, but we need more bodies to come out and support indie horror!!!!! It was loads of fun, whoever wasn't there missed a great evening. ... |

I recently started tweeting, or twitting, or whatever. I sort of understand the “what” and the “how” of twitter (at least I’m working on it), but I really don’t understand the “why”. I originally thought that twitter was a harbinger of The End Times. Next would come the Rapture. Driverless cars would crash and pilot-less planes would fall out of the sky. But, I may have over reacted. (I also thought that of pay-per-view porn…no, wait a sec, that’s a good thing, I never thought that. I’m getting porn mixed up with self-serve gas.) Maybe twitter isn’t that bad. At any rate, I’ve resigned myself to learning how to do it properly.... |
