" Just read it yo! But zombies are lurking around somewhere. " It had been a long, tortuous night and they had finally found a moments respite on this apartment building roof. Dawn was about to break and Lila could see the sky brightening from pitch black to dark blue on the eastern horizon. There were no walking corpses in sight. She looked down at little Marie sleeping by her side. She was a brave kid. A survivor. She had made it halfway across the city by herself after the zombies had killed her family at the beginning of the outbreak. It had all started only a mile away from her house. Marie was only eleven.... |
