A time of jovial exuberance and renewal, when the veil between worlds is at its thinnest, where light and darkness lose all meaning, within a realm of twilight. Amidst the merriment and laughter, the streets of Hush Falls beckon with an alluring, albeit sinister, charm. The Midway, a labyrinth of shadows and twisted delights, luring brave and adventurous souls into its eerie embrace, offers little solace to the uninitiated. The very air hums with a forbidden excitement, as the flickering lanterns cast macabre shadows on the faces of those in attendance. Amongst the revelers, residents don eerie costumes, weaving together little white lies of silk and lace, a half-hearted attempt to conceal the morbid machinations they have in store. They play their parts with fiendish glee, delighting in the trembling anticipation of those who dare to enter their realm.
